NEW YORK, NY (February 10, 2016) – 58 people were killed and 78 wounded today in a Nigerian refugee camp purportedly by the terrorist group Boko Haram. The Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) condemns these horrific crimes in the strongest terms possible.
These cowardly and despicable attacks on civilians by Boko Haram are outrageous and without justification. Our thoughts and prayers are with the loved ones of those killed and injured and with all Nigerians facing these murderous criminals who have nothing to do with Islam or with any faith. The perpetrators of these heinous attacks must be apprehended and brought to justice.
