SACRAMENTO, CA – 5/5/2015 – The Islamic Circle of North America’s Sacramento chapter launched five da’wah billboards across the city, garnering over a million views a week.
They are only one part of ICNA’s ongoing, comprehensive da’wah campaign titled “#WhoisMuhammad”, which seeks to increase awareness and knowledge about the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.
The billboards invite viewers to either call WhyIslam’s toll-free hotline or visit their website, and obtain answers to common questions relating to Islam. Callers and visitors also receive a complimentary copy of the Qur’an.
“We are excited that the current campaign is going strong,” said Ishfaq Quraishi, president ICNA’s Sacramento Chapter. “Our members have been very active and enthusiastic in conducting da’wah.”
ICNA Sacramento has recently hosted a number of outreach events and held several successful da’wah booths, including one at the California State Fair.”
