NEW YORK (Dunya News) – A poetic symposium was arranged by Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) Relief USA in New York’s Bronx area.
The main purpose of the event was to raise funds for helping shelter homes for Muslim women running under ICNA.
Various poets including Syed Salman Gilani from Pakistan participated in the event and entertained the audience.
Talking to Dunya News, poet Ejaz Bhatti said that such events can promote Urdu and Punjabi languages and Pakistani culture in North America.
He further lauded ICNA for holding successful poetic symposium.
