Members of the community continue to help the victims of last week’s deadly fire in the Bronx.

On Thursday the Muslim-American nonprofit group, ICNA Relief, provided hot meals and winter clothes including coats to the families affected by the fire in Belmont last week.

That fire left 13 people dead.

The nonprofit’s headquarters is in Jamaica, Queens and volunteers headed to the Bronx Thursday braving the snow, wind and cold to support the families that lost their homes.

The fire broke out on the first floor of a building on Prospect Avenue last week.

Investigators say a toddler started the fire, by playing with the stove in his family’s apartment.

They say the door was left open, making it easier for the flames to quickly spread to upper levels.

Organizers tell NY1 several families stopped by the event.

Kebab King of Queens also helped the nonprofit put it all together.

If you would like to help the families affected by the fire you can call ICNA Relief at 866 354-0102.
