ICNA MAS Southeast 26th Annual Convention

ICNA MAS Southeast 26th Annual Convention

December 19, 2020, 12:00pm - December 19, 2020, 9:00pm

AsSalaamu Alaikum Brothers and Sisters,
Allah (swt) put us all in a big trial this year with COVID-19, which had a major negative impact on our social life and we could not hold any physical community programs. However, as much as possible, virtual educational activities continued for a certain extent.
ICNA-MAS Southeast Islamic had been, no doubt, the largest family program in our region for over two decades. Regretfully, this year we are going virtual as well.
There will be a one day conference on Saturday, December 19th (from Noon to 9 pm ET). Please see attached flyer and plan to participate with your families. There will be FOUR sessions where your familiar speakers will discuss very critical aspects of today’s challenges in the light of the Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad (s).
1. Social Justice covering Islamophbia, Racism and Political Engagement in the post Trump world.
2. Social Services during and in post CORONA world.
3. Young Muslims session will cover different characteristics & help they need the most today.
4. Sisters program (Eng & Urdu) will address some pertinent issues.
5. Main program will describe various aspects of the life of the Prophet (s) and how they guide us to meet the challenges of the day.
Please plan to join on time and do not forget to share this info with your family and friends.

Allah (God Almighty), asks us in the Quran to ask for His help in finding direction “Guide me to the straight path.” (1:6), He then also provides us with direction where He says “this is My path, which is straight, so follow it”(6:153). Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) brings you the 2020 Dawah conference – “Islam: The Solution in times of Confusion” where world-renowned speakers will highlight how Islam presents solutions for issues facing us, and more importantly how we can equip ourselves to stand strong in times of confusion.
