This eventually led to the collapse of Mubarak regime. She was included in Newsweek’s “150 Women Who Shake the World”. She received “Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought” awarded for her contributions to “historic changes in the Arab world.” Arabian Business placed her among the “world’s 500 most influential Arabs.
