A Scene From Convention Bazaar
Imagine, there is a festive spirit in the air at the expo floor which features more than 400 booths. Beautiful and uplifting recitations of the Qur’an resonate from the audio/visual booths. Everyone is enjoying a wide variety of books, CDs and DVDs, gifts, and artwork. And the women also have much to see as they browse through booths featuring hijabs, jilbabs, jewelry, scarves, and healthcare products. Businesses, as well as relief, dawah, and educational non-profit organizations, including many of ICNA departments, have a strong showing on the bazaar floor, allowing the people to become more familiar with them. There is constant traffic from main hall and congregational prayers on one side, and food and children rides on the other. That’s ICNA-MAS Annual Convention Bazaar for you. Registration for the convention is required to get access to the bazaar.
