What should I include in the basket?
You may make a basket of cookies and/or fruits and/or chocolates. You may do a basket or a platter or a jar! The main idea is to create a touch point with your neighbor. As you do this, you will also be fulfilling a sunnah! Polls show that knowing a Muslim personally does influences American views of Islam. Those who know Muslims hold more favorable views.

Ramadan is a special month of the year for over 1.8 billion Muslims throughout the world. It is a time for inner reflection, contemplation, discipline and devotion to God.
During this month of spiritual renewal, we practice self-discipline by fasting and sacrificing food and drink during the daylight hours. Ramadan is a month of giving and sharing with re-commitment to bettering ourselves.
It is our prayer that God bless us all with peace and hope throughout the world.
Wishing you peace, joy, and a happy Ramadan!
