WASHINGTON D.C. (February 5, 2018) – The ICNA Council for Social Justice (CSJ) expresses its appreciation for the opportunity to work with Toyota for their Super Bowl commercial entitled “One Team” and provide consultation.
“During these times of polarization, we were glad to work with Toyota to put forward a message of friendship among people of different faiths” said Dr. Zahid Bukhari, Executive Director, ICNA CSJ. CSJ was involved in the production of the commercial including script writing, scouting for locations, talent search, filming and editing.

Last year, ICNA CSJ worked with Amazon on a similar concept for their commercial for the holidays. We hope more brands and companies will reach out to us to depict an accurate image of our faith and its teachings which often times are misrepresented in the media.
