JAMAICA, New York (July 18, 2012) – The Islamic Circle of North America issued a press release today announcing the official launch of Muslim Family Day 2012, to be held at Six Flags Theme Parks nationwide.

“With the holy month of Ramadan right around the corner, ICNA has announced dates and locations for Muslim Family Day, which will be held in celebration of Eid Al-Fitr across the United States.
Over the past ten years, Muslim Family Day has become an incredibly popular event amongst the Muslim community, with nearly 50,000 people attending the event at venues across the country. The event was first held in 2000 at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ, and has since expanded to numerous locations. This year Muslim Family Day will be held in the following cities:

• Los Angeles, CA (August 25)
• San Francisco, CA (August 25)
• Boston/Springfield, MA (August 25)
• Albany, NY (September 1)
• Chicago, IL (September 1)
• Atlanta, GA (September 1)
• Darien Lake, NY (September 1)
• Washington, DC (September 15)
• Jackson, NJ (September 17)

Note: Unfortunately Muslim Family Day will not be held in Dallas, TX this year.

    I was wondering if vendors would be invited for the event on aug 25th 2012

  2. Could we please have it in Dallas this year but on a weekend, like saturday? My family and i always want to come in for this event but when its on a sunday we are not able to stay because of school the next day! Please reconsider!

  3. Why is there no Muslim Family Day is Dallas?! This is not fair. I don’t get it. Why did yall cancel it for Dallas? We really look forward to that day… You can’t just cancel it.

  5. It is disappointing to read that there is no Muslim Family day in DFW. My kids were looking forward to it.
    I request ICNA to reconsider their decision.

  6. Assalam walekum, I was wondering if a very nice nasheed artist name Mo Sabri can come and perform in NJ for Muslim family day! If you guys want to know one of his nasheed, go on YouTube and search is “Heavens Where Her Heart Is”

  7. Why is it that Muslim family day is during the week? This is a school day for us… The children were looking forward to going and now cannot attend… Why is it not on a weekend?
