Info Booth at The California State Fair for 19 Days


 
 

 

—FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE—

 

SACRAMENTO, California (July 22, 2010) – The Sacramento Chapter of Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) and its 877-Why-Islam project are hosting an information booth at the California State Fair from July 14th until August 1st. They will be handing out free copies of the English translation of the Quran, Islamic literature and answering questions about Islam.

 

wi-ca-state-fair1 The mission of the project is to encourage people to search for unbiased information on Islam and to promote understanding and dialogue between people of different faiths.

 

877-Why-Islam volunteers will be there to answer all questions regarding Islam, its teachings and help clear up any misconceptions. 877-Why-Islam will also be highlighting the cultural diversity of Muslims. Volunteers will be there for 19 days consecutively, 12 hours a day Friday through Sunday and 10 hours a day Monday through Thursday.
